younglings

teaching is fun! not so much that i have the undying passion for teaching, the joy of nurturing a kid blah blah blah but quite simply because.... kids say the darndest things!

just the other day, one of the words for spelling was columnist. so i was asking the class in the typical excited-kindergarten-teacher tone, "ok! so who writes articles in the newspaper???" One of the girls, Candice, cried out in the most innocent tone,

Communist!

hahahahahah. i immediately L O L ed. actually, if i could, i would rofl. it was wicked funny. She's the same girl who, last year, wrote in a worksheet:

1) We assemble in the ___hell____ every morning.

it was supposed to be hall. i remember LOLing the moment i saw that sentence and Candice looking at me, head tilted with a confused look, chuckling constipated heh hehs because children just like to laugh along with anybody but at the same time she couldn't really understand what was so funny. XD

Oh sam! Jojo smsed me yday asking me if i could teach her english haha im quite psyched about it! and of course im taking up the offer. i hope she can do well esp since we're starting in jan. =p plus, hanging out at ur place is nothing short of freaking awesome hahaha. too bad we cant see u for cny... come back soon!

life has been pretty busy... and thank God i'm alive every day with able hands and mind!
